Get all cop cars Secrets Start the game with an extra $10,000 If you have a savegame of NFS:U2 on your PS2/XBox/GameCube, or have the game installed on your PC (only a savegame wont work!), you will have an extra $10,000 when you start NFS:MW. Recommended car to start off with The best start car the game, is the Lexus IS300 - keep it until you get the Eclipse. More info on the best cars is coming soon, check back later! Faster start When the start countdown is running; try to keep your tacho meter needle in the blue, preferably green area. That way you will accelerate noticeably faster. This is particularly useful in drag races, getting that extra edge on your opponent! It's pretty tricky to do if you're using a keyboard, but with a controller/joystick/wheel this isn't a big challenge. Using your nitro for cleaner driving Nitro gives you a large torque boost, so it slams back your rear. That you can use as an advantage! When you're getting unstable and about to lose traction, use a bit of NOS to straighten up again. You can combine this little trick with the Speedbreaker, and take almost every turn at any speed! Easy money 1 When you defeat one of the opponents on the black-list, you'll get two marks to use on several different things. Don't use them on the Uniques early in the game. Instead, use them on the left or middle "Random" choices. Those should usually be large cash prizes, or the opponent's Pink Slip. Easy money 2 If you sell a car with upgrades on it, or sell the same car without any upgrades, you recieve the same price. So it doesn't take a genious to figure this out: if you have a car with mods on it that you want to sell, first go to the mod shops and sell the upgrades! Maximum Cars The maximum amount of cars is 25. The maximum amount of cars you can buy is 10 but with the 15 blacklist vehicles that you can win you can have a maximum of 25 cars. Faster Startup If you want NFSMW to start up faster you can easily skip the movies when you star the game. You can skip the EA logo, Josie Maran's safety talk and the little racing movie. 1. Go to the directory where you installed NFSMW. (Standard it's C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Need for Speed Most Wanted) 2. Go to the map called "MOVIES" and look for the following files: attract_movie, ealogo and psa. Behind these filenames are also the language you choose to install the game with and either PAL or NTSC. 3. Rename these files (or delete them, this might cause problems updating NFSMW) by just putting something behind them. (I use _orig) 4. Run the game and you'll notice that the movies at the start wont be shown again.	Enter !bacon as your name.
